MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE
PERMANENT – FULL TIME• Salary range £22,000 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience/skills)• 25 days holiday per annum which increases with service• Chamber Westfield Health Scheme (Level 1 contributions)*• Pension scheme (after successful completion of probation)Due to internal promotion Doncaster Chamber have a vacancy for a Marketing & Communications Executive. This is a permanent full time role within the Chamber reporting directly to the Head of Policy & Communications.Duties include:-• Supporting the Head of Policy and Communications to develop a Marketing & Communications Strategy (Internal & External) that promotes all Chamber’s activities including Membership, Events, International Trade, Doncaster Skills Academy, Business Support projects• Assist account managing the Patrons of Doncaster Chamber and related events. Seek opportunities for new Patrons and produce a list of prospects to work towards• Ensure the consistent application of the Chamber brand and its values through social media and a diverse range of marketing assets (eg, pull up banners, leaflets etc)• Support the development and implementation of the new CRM and ensure it is updated with any relevant activity in a timely manner• Assist with the Chamber’s website and lead on further technological and digital developments including video/animation• Manage the content of the Chamber’s website and social media activities including blogs/videos. Take video and edit using QUMU software• Ensure compliance with GDPR and amend policies should any amendments to the law arise. Liaise with the GDPR internal focus group in the first instance• Arrange Marketing internal training sessions for staff• Assist with editorial content for internal and external Chamber articles and publications including the Chamber’s e-bulletins and partnerships with local media outlets (Eg. Kemps)• Write and distribute press releases, case studies, testimonials and develop and manage media relations• Monitor the departmental budget and report on any variance• Assist with driving advertising revenues from the Chamber’s website and e-bulletin in line with the Business Plan and Budget• Assist with the Chamber’s Quarterly Economic Survey ensuring it’s delivered according to deadlines and receives adequate response rates in line with KPI’s.• Ensure that the Chamber’s programme of Focus Group meetings are coordinated and delivered in accordance with Members’ policy priority• Support the development, promotion and sale of Chamber membership• Provide operational support to the delivery of the Chamber’s activities including the Business Awards and manage mini campaigns, eg, SkillsFest etc• Organise and assist with all departmental events including QES related events, AGM, Patrons dinners• Engage and network with appropriate partners and stakeholders building mutually beneficial relationships inc. represent Chamber at any stakeholder meetings/events• Adhere to all policies and procedures at all timesThe right candidate will be experienced in developing marketing strategies including internal and external communication channels for all media. Proficient in PR and writing copy, as well as having an understanding of development websites/CRM systems. The Chamber have recently launched a new website. The candidate must be self-motivated, resilient and able to achieve objectives and deadlines with minimum support.
