Membership is for a minimum period of 12 months and is renewable on the anniversary of your election to membership.
Please note that payment is for a minimum period of twelve months with membership continuing on a month by month basis thereafter.
You will be classed as a Doncaster Chamber Member once your first payment has been received. Until payment is received you will be classed as ‘pending’.
If during your annual membership, a direct debit payment is returned unpaid, then Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise will automatically take the balance of the sum due from the credit card details supplied.
Membership automatically ceases on the liquidation, administration or bankruptcy of a member.
Doncaster Chamber reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership of any business who breaches these terms and conditions, acts inappropriately towards the Chamber or its members, brings the Chamber into disrepute or does not act in accordance with the Chamber’s values. Any decision to refuse/revoke Membership will be subject to the CEO and Board of Directors approval.
Applying online, by accepting these Terms & Conditions you agree to the following:
- You are verifying that you are you who you say you are
- That the address provided is correct and can be verified
- The account number and sort code provided relate to your company
- That you are authorised as a signatory on the bank account
We may change the amount of your monthly subscriptions from time to time. If we do, we will write to you at the address you have given us at least 14 days before any change takes place.
You may choose to pay your membership fees in monthly/quarterly/annual payments. If you choose to do this, the whole year’s subscription is payable, and no refund will be given if you give notice of cancellation during the year.
3. Cancelling Your Membership
If you wish to cancel your membership you must:
Give two months’ notice prior to your renewal date by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Any other form of communication will not be accepted. Cancellations will only be accepted once the above notification has been received.
Contact your Bank/Building Society and cancel your direct debit to prevent further collections.Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise cannot be held liable for any payments processed due to the failure of a member to cancel a direct debit either with Doncaster Chamber or Bank/Building Society.
If you cancel your membership we will not refund any membership fee paid in advance which relates to a period after cancellation.
4. Upon cancellation of your Membership
Please remove any reference to Doncaster Chamber membership from your premises, literature, website etc. with immediate effect.
All events must be paid in full prior to attending, if the full amount is not paid then you could be refused entry. If there is a significant reason as to why payment cannot be made prior to an event you must contact the Events or Finance department immediately.
Any event cancellations made less than 7 days prior to an event will not be refunded.
Doncaster Chamber reserves the right to cancel any event without notice and without reason, therefore any monies paid will be refunded in full.

By visiting www.doncaster-chamber.co.uk you acknowledge that all copyright, trademarks and database rights in the content of this site remain vested in Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise or our licensors.
Attempts to harvest our database is strictly forbidden and may lead to your access to the members’ section of the site being temporarily or permanently denied. Database theft is a criminal and civil offence. We actively monitor access to our database and will take action to defend our intellectual property rights in respect thereof.
What information do we collect about you?
Doncaster Chamber collects personal information when you complete an application for membership or access one of our services.
How will we use the information about you?
Personal information you provide to Doncaster Chamber will be used for the purposes of administering your membership and will be retained as evidence to comply with audit or legislative
Doncaster Chamber will also share your information with trusted partners who are delivering membership services on Doncaster Chamber’s behalf. Your business details will also be included in Chamber publications such as the Member Directory and featured within the online directory on the Doncaster Chamber Website.
Doncaster Chamber would like to contact you to keep you informed on the latest member and chamber news, events, services, and surveys. We may also contact you about membership products and services which may be of interest to you and your business. You can unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time, please email email@example.com if you no longer wish to be contacted.
Access to your information and correction

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You can review and amend your personal information by logging in to our Member Only Area. Alternatively you can email email@example.com to ask us to correct or remove information that you think is inaccurate.
How long do we keep your data?
Doncaster Chamber will retain your personal information for the duration of your membership and up to a maximum of 2 years thereafter. Non-member data will be retained for up to a maximum of 2 years from the date of collection. All financial data is retained for 6 years.
