Rebuild and Recruit: Business and Prison Workforce returns for a second year following the success of its inaugural event, bringing together businesses and prison partners to explore the opportunities within the prison workforce. Delivered in collaboration with establishments including HMP Moorland, HMP Hatfield, HMP Lindholme and Serco (HMP Doncaster), the event provides a valuable platform to better understand how employing current and former offenders can support rehabilitation while helping organisations address skills gaps and build more inclusive workforces.

The event offers an informative and engaging experience, combining networking opportunities with expert-led discussion on the practical considerations, benefits and wider social impact of hiring ex-offenders. Attendees will gain insight into the extensive support available to employers and learn how strong partnerships between businesses and prisons can contribute to reducing reoffending, anti-social behaviour and homelessness, while strengthening communities and improving public safety.

Guests will also have the opportunity to see first-hand the work being undertaken to upskill individuals within the prison system, helping to prepare them for employment upon release.
