Doncaster Chamber urges members to put their questions on DSA directly to the Mayor

Doncaster Chamber urges members to join Mayor Oliver Coppard at a public meeting on the future of Doncaster Sheffield Airport and put their questions to him directly.
South Yorkshire’s Mayor and Leaders have backed plans to bring Doncaster Sheffield Airport and the adjacent Innovation Quarter employment land into public ownership, subject to agreement with Peel. It’s a move the Chamber and the wider business community have welcomed as a statement of the region’s intent.
The business community has lobbied hard for DSA in recent years. Now it’s time for the airport to deliver for business: international connectivity, freight and cargo facilities, inbound tourism and local supply chain opportunities. With youth unemployment a concern, it’s also a chance to ask how the project will create careers for the next generation.
The public meeting, hosted by our Chief Executive, Dan Fell, takes place during International Trade Week at Club Doncaster Sports Village on Monday 9 November. Arrive from 5.30pm for a 6pm start. Tickets are free.
