Chamber Connect Launches to Help Doncaster Businesses Get More from Their Membership

Doncaster Chamber has launched Chamber Connect, a new monthly event designed to help members make the most of their membership while building valuable connections across the local business community.
The first Chamber Connect took place yesterday at the refurbished Corn Exchange, bringing together new and existing members for a relaxed morning of networking, conversation and practical support from the Chamber team.
The event gives members a chance to discover the full range of support available through their membership, from policy representation and business advice to promotional opportunities, events and international trade services. It also provides an informal space to meet other local businesses, build connections and share feedback directly with the Chamber team.
Jade Dyer, Chief Operating Officer at Doncaster Chamber, said:
“Chamber Connect has been a wonderful opportunity to hear directly from our members and to see real, live collaboration happening in the room. There's something special about watching our team sit down with businesses and help them find the parts of their membership that genuinely work for their goals. It's a reminder of why we do this, and it sets the tone for what we want every Chamber Connect to deliver.”
For Sean Woodward from Ryft Digital, who attended his first Chamber event, the relaxed atmosphere made an immediate impact:
“Everybody wants to grow together. There was a lot of laughter, a lot of friendships I can see being built and a good networking opportunity. I would certainly recommend it. I've found it beneficial and I've already made a few connections.”
Mark Kelly from KEYIVR also highlighted the variety of businesses in the room and the opportunities to support one another:
“You've got to come to this. It's a forum to meet people who can give help, want help and need help, and that's what we're here for. It's a great bunch of people, a real mixed bag. I didn't expect the variety there is.”
Following the success of the first event, Chamber Connect will now take place on the last Wednesday of every month at the Corn Exchange and is open to both new and existing members.
Each session gives businesses the opportunity to meet the Chamber team, discover more ways to use their membership and strengthen their network across Doncaster.
The next Chamber Connect takes place on Wednesday 30 September.
