In Remembrance: Doncaster Chamber Pays Tribute to Her Majesty The Queen

Doncaster Chamber is deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II.

Dan Fell, Chief Exec of Doncaster Chamber, said: “This news has been profoundly affecting for us at the Chamber, for our members and, I am sure, for the whole of South Yorkshire.

“For most people today, the Queen was a reassuring constant throughout their lifetime, and they have not known another monarch. During her long and historic reign, Her Majesty inspired us all with her fierce resilience, unwavering sense of decorum and remarkable commitment to duty, which she continued to show right until the very end.

“From our own perspective, the Queen was also a stanch supporter of the business community and the work that we do, serving as Patron for the British Chambers of Commerce network. On a local level, Doncaster was recently awarded City Status to honour Her platinum Jubilee as well, so her influence is still being felt.

“With all of that said, The Chamber sends its condolences to the Royal Family at this difficult time and pays tribute to Her Majesty’s long years of service to the country.”
