What is the South Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Plan?
The South Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) sets out how education, training providers and employers can work together to develop the skills our region needs. Funded by Skills England, the LSIP has been led by the three South Yorkshire Chambers of Commerce in partnership with South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA), it is informed by business across the region to ensure training reflects real workforce needs and supports future economic growth.
