Doncaster Chamber is proud to support Mental Health Awareness Week (18th -22nd May)
Each session will comprise of 20 minutes from an expert speaker followed by an interactive Q&A where you will be able to ask the expert questions directly. There will be an opportunity to have further discussions with the expert after the session has finished.
Overview:
This session will be delivered by Mark Willis – Trainer and Training Manager at York and Doncaster Mind around:
- Simple techniques to combat stress, worry and anxiety that anyone can practice.
- Maintaining mental health
- Helping staff with mental well-being remotely
Speaker Bio:
Mark Willis, Training Manager at York and Doncaster Mind. Mark delivers training mainly to corporate businesses but other organisations too such as the police, colleges and local government. He also delivers Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Prevention courses; ASIST and safeTALK along with a suite of their own mental well-being, mindfulness and stress management. Mark has worked for Mind for the past 5 years and has delivered mental health training for the past ten. Doncaster Mind is an independent local charity, providing high quality mental health services in Doncaster and its surrounding area. All of their services and activities are informed by people with lived experience of mental health difficulties and it is their stories that inspire and drive them.
