Former Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer
Gordon Brown served as Prime Minister (2007-2010), Chancellor (1997-2007) and as MP in his home county, Fife (1983-2015). He is the UN Special Envoy for Global Education and a passionate advocate for children’s rights and educational opportunity for all. Gordon chairs the Education Commission, the Education Cannot Wait HLSG and the Inquiry on Protecting Children in Conflict. Gordon is the author of several books including Beyond the Crash and My Life, Our Times.
