Future proofing Doncaster businessesMarch 26, 2019Local business people will attend the Doncaster Business Insight Breakfast Briefing on Thursday 4 April to discuss how Doncaster firms are making themselves more robust, sustainable and productive during these changing economic, political and environmental times.
Anna Round from the IPPR will talk about her ongoing work into the productivity of small and medium sized businesses in the North of England including how they are building resilience in these challenging times, responding to the productivity challenge, and interacting with business support and policy interventions such as the Industrial Strategy.
Attendees will also hear the latest results of the Doncaster Business Insight Survey for Quarter 1 2019 to gain the latest snapshot of local business sentiment on hot topics including understanding apprenticeships, barriers to international trade, and creating local supply chains. Plus they will hear about the local trends in sales, employment, investment, business challenges and other economic factors.
This will be followed by a panel discussion between business leaders from high profile organisations including Jamie Dunbar, Cementation Skanska, and Ashley Granter, Natura, who will further share how they are making their businesses sustainable in more ways than one.
