St Leger Homes achieves five star health and safety rating for eighth year runningDecember 19, 2018Local housing provider St Leger Homes has again achieved a five-star rating from the British Safety Council, it has been announced this week. The assessment, as part of the Occupational Health and Safety Audit, is the eighth year in a row that the company has received this accreditation for their approach to health and safety.
The independent audit measured performance against key health and safety management best practice indicators and a detailed review of over sixty component elements – as part of a comprehensive, quantified and robust evaluation of its occupational health and safety policies, processes and practices.
The accreditation also acknowledges St Leger Homes’ commitment towards the continual improvement of health and safety management systems and associated arrangements.
David Parr, Policy and Technical Services Director at the British Safety Council, said:
“The award of a five-star grading following our occupational best practice Health and Safety Audit is an outstanding achievement and is reflective of a proactive organisation which is committed to continual improvement in its health and safety arrangements and managing risks to workers’ health, safety and welfare. St Leger Homes should be very proud of this achievement.”
