PR trio shortlisted for National Business Women’s AwardsOctober 18, 2018A South Yorkshire-based boutique PR agency, led by three female entrepreneurs, has been shortlisted for a National Business Women’s Award.
Sidekick PR, based at Kelham Island in Sheffield, has been shortlisted for the ‘Best New Business Award’, which recognises the achievements of female-led companies set up within the last two years.
The trio – Charlotte Dimond, Eve Worthington and Kirstie Nickson – established Sidekick PR in 2016 and have since grown the business’s portfolio to more than 20 clients nationwide, increasing turnover by almost 15 percent in Sidekick’s second year (2017/18) and remaining on course to exceed year-on-year turnover in 2018-19 by a further 20 percent.
Charlotte Dimond, director at Sidekick, said: “We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for a National Business Women’s Award, it’s great to be recognised for the hard work we’ve put in to growing Sidekick over the last two years.
“We’re very proud of our agency and we’re proud to be three women making our mark in business. This shortlisting is testimony to the steps we’ve taken as a team to make sure we punch well above our weight when it comes to getting results for our clients.”
The awards ceremony takes place at Wembley on Friday 7 December 2018.
