Local businesses come together to maintain relaunch momentum!
Clyde Pneumatic Conveying, established in 1974, is a leading supplier of advanced dense-phase pneumatic conveying equipment, products and systems to the international power, industrial and process industries and a leading UK service provider for the materials handling and APC aftermarket support. With exports to over 50 countries worldwide, including America, Europe, Russia, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia – Clyde is a well known and trusted brand in this space.
Following recent management buy out, their senior management team are now operating as an independent, standalone business under the resurrected name of Clyde Pneumatic Conveying Ltd. As a part of the overhaul, an important decision was made to partner with a new, local IT support provider for the business. They were looking for a company located near Doncaster to be able to provide technical support, both remote and on-site when required.
As well as refreshed branding, marketing strategy and name change, Clyde Pneumatic Conveying needed reliable IT solutions to underpin operations, enabling the business to continue serving their own clients, through the transition period and in the future. TwentyFour IT Services is pleased to announce that they are working with Clyde Pneumatic Conveying to deliver the infrastructure needed to make this happen, services will include a Firewall solution and a Wi-Fi network for the business. The relationship extends further in that TwentyFour will also provide ongoing technical support. Clyde Pneumatic Conveying can be confident that by outsourcing their IT needs, the team will be on hand to support - 24 hours a day. Sharing his thoughts on the partnership, Kevin Tidmarsh, Project Manager at Clyde Pneumatic Conveying, said: "We're delighted to begin our new partnership with TwentFour IT Services. Tony, Dave and the team will be a vital asset for our whole company, as our exiting Group support infrastructure is phased out over the next five months. TwentyFour came highly recommended from local firms, including the Doncaster Chamber, and are truly local to us; being based just around the corner from the estate that our company was founded; roots we are pleased to return to in new ways.”
Despite the recent challenging times, Clyde Pneumatic Conveying did not let it stop the relaunch which went ahead as planned – be sure to check out the brand new website. TwentyFour IT are equally fortunate that the team can continue operating, albeit not exactly as normal. Still, as a team, they are managing to provide the remote IT support they need in terms of email services and overall project support. Tony Houlihan, Chief Technology Officer at TwerntyFour IT Services, explains: “It is vital that our community work together in whatever ways we can to ensure business keeps going. We will continue to go the extra mile for our clients so that they have the IT tools they need to overcome any challenges they are facing both now and in the future.”
