Firefly cancer charity gets major boostNovember 12, 2018Doncaster’s Firefly run a charitable fleet of vehicles, collecting cancer patients from their homes and driving them to and from Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield to receive specialist cancer treatment. Firefly relies entirely upon donations and support from the local community.
Local marketing agency MultiWebMarketing.co.uk provided a new fundraising website, graphic design, leaflets and social media support, all free of charge. Founder, Paul Smith, said;
“After my own personal experience with cancer, me and my team have been delighted to help Firefly move forwards with their fundraising activities. As a charitable organisation we have, and continue to provide all our marketing services 100% free.”
Chewy Bacchus, director of Firefly, was incredibly happy with the new website:
“Earlier this year, Paul contacted me to discuss the idea of building a new fundraising website. He assured me any professional marketing services they were offering, now and in the future, wouldn’t cost Firefly a penny. I’m absolutely delighted with the new website, which is already generating further awareness and donations.”
Firefly is entirely run on donations, which all go towards the running and maintenance of the Firefly Express fleet. The charity is also raising money to invest in a new vehicle to provide further support to local cancer patients and their families.
