Doncaster Council introduces new digital support serviceOctober 02, 2019Library offers support on Assisted Digital Support for HMCTS Services and PIP Appeals
Doncaster Council recognises that not everyone has the same confidence with computers or access to the internet, so to ensure that nobody in our borough is left behind, staff in Central Library are now trained to provide free and confidential support to assist residents with the recent government move to online only forms.
If you are dealing with probate, divorce, civil money claims, TFL fines (Transport for London), help with fees or appealing a PIP decision, Doncaster Council’s library service is offering confidential appointments for assisted digital support. Staff are not able to offer legal advice, but are trained to offer impartial support and help residents complete the online forms.
Councillor Ball said “The internet has the potential to revolutionise how residents access vital services, and we are determined that everyone in our borough is able to benefit no matter what their skills and experience with IT may be.”
For a confidential appointment for assisted digital support please telephone the Central Library on 01302 734320.
