Doing business in south east AsiaJune 04, 2019On 23 May, Doncaster Chamber hosted a ‘Doing business in south-east Asia’ event to support local businesses already trading overseas and those considering expanding to new horizons.
The morning event focussed on three keynote speakers with a wide and varied experience of doing business within the region including where to start, and understanding local laws and political and cultural differences to enable Doncaster businesses to build strong trading relationships across south-east Asia.
Lynda Monaghan, Lead International Trade Adviser at Doncaster Chamber led the event. She said: “The international trade event is just one of the ‘Doing business in’ events that Doncaster Chamber runs throughout the year, with a roundtable event taking place in June and a future event being planned for September.
“As a team we organise these events to provide businesses with a range of free and impartial advice and signposting to help realise the growth and achievement of their own business aspirations.”
On 19 June the Chamber is hosting a roundtable discussion for businesses already trading internationally as well as those who haven’t considered it to discuss the barriers to international trade and how can they be overcome?
