Clarks join Doncaster Chamber as Patron membersSeptember 26, 2019Local business Clarks Vehicle Conversions becomes Doncaster Chamber Patron member
Clarks Vehicle Conversions is the latest business in Doncaster to become a Patron member of Doncaster Chamber. The new partnership will enable them to open up new business opportunities and engage with other like-minded business people and institutions, which in turn benefits the local economy.
Clarks is a local family run business based in Carcroft, Doncaster. Established for over 30 years, they are the UK’s number 1 welfare van conversion specialists and produce a varied range of vehicle conversions ranging from mobile youth centres to safety vehicles used by road workers on motorway lane closure sites.
David Chilvers, Head of Sales at Clarks Vehicle Conversions, explains why they joined the Chamber as a Patron member: “We were aware of the impact that Doncaster Chamber has for helping businesses grow, whilst doing brilliant things for the wider borough. Becoming Patrons is in line with our core values and allows us to raise the profile of Clarks Vehicle Conversions and build beneficial relationships with other senior business leaders, whilst at the same time supporting the Chamber to continue its great work.”
Stefan Rodgers, Commercial Director at Doncaster Chamber, said: “Clarks is a high growth Doncaster business and we are delighted to welcome them as a Patron member. Last year they won Business of the Year at the Doncaster Business Awards, testament to their excellence in business and committed approach to their people and customers. Following the award they saw synergies in our approach and becoming Patron members was the next step in their commitment to supporting the local economy.”
