Opportunities Doncaster have worked closely with the Careers Hub to design our menu of services for this academic year. Your secondary school can choose to benefit from 4 careers activities worth £2000, for just £750 from your Enterprise Coordinator grant. These activities must be delivered by August 2021.
This year, all our activities are mapped against the Gatsby Benchmarks, the CDI Framework and the Skills Builder Framework.
We believe this makes it easier for you as the school’s Careers Leader to plan how our activities complement your wider careers programme in a way which is balanced, progressive and tailored to the needs of your students. The CDI Framework outlines learning outcome statements across 17 important areas of careers, employability and enterprise education grouped under three main headings:
Developing yourself through careers, employability and enterprise education
Self-awareness, self-determination and self-improvement underpin aspiration, ambition and achievement in careers, learning and the world of work
Learning about careers and the world of work
Exploring, investigating and understanding the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences that careers and the world of work have to offer is a prerequisite for successful planning and development.

Developing a range of career management, employability and enterprise skills is the key to meeting challenges, making progress and managing change.
We have grouped our activities under each of these headings to show which area of career learning is being targeted by each.

How do I know if my school has access to this delivery for 20/21?
Your Enterprise Coordinator will have notified your careers leader of the activity that you are able to have access to through this years Enterprise Coordinator grant. For any questions please contact Zoe Catterall.
How do I book my delivery in?
Once you have decided when you would like the activities to take place, please complete the form below for each activity. The Opportunities Doncaster team will then be in touch to confirm your booking and plan you activity accordingly.
How much notice do we need to provide Opportunities Doncaster for each activity?
A minimum of a 5 weeks lead time is required for all activities.
When do all activities need delivering by?
All activities must be delivered before the end of July 2021.
Can I access more activities outside of the Enterprise Coordinator Grant?
All activities are available to be purchased commercially, please speak with the Opportunities Doncaster team to have a package put together for you.

All activities listed in our menu of services can be delivered face to face or virtually.
How do I book activities?
To book your activity please complete the following application form below for each activity requested.
Disclaimer & Quality Assurance:
Opportunities Doncaster require a minimum of 5 weeks’ notice in order to plan and organise each activity.
Please inform Opportunities Doncaster of any changes to your curriculum timetable that could affect any previously planned delivery sessions as soon as possible. In the instance of the scheduled workshops needing to be rearranged by the school, Opportunities Doncaster will do its upmost to support the change however, this would be dependent on our prior scheduled planner.
Please ensure that all supporting teaching staff are fully briefed on the activities to take place prior to delivery and are aware of the desired outcomes.
Please brief students on the activities prior to delivery and distribute resources as and when required (this will be communicated to you by Opportunities Doncaster staff where applicable).
