SUMMARY:Roundtable: Update & discussion on Doncaster's present and future transport
DESCRIPTION:Peter Kennan\, who is a member of the Sheffield City Region LEP Board\, Transport for the North Board\, and British Chambers of Commerce Transport Infrastructure Expert Panel\, is keen to hear your views on the region's current and future plans for transport. \n\n\n\nPeter will discuss the proposed rail link to Doncaster Sheffield Airport\, possible changes to Doncaster's Trans-Pennine and Cross Country train services\, Tram Train\, Northern Powerhouse Rail\, HS2 including a South Yorkshire Parkway station and some other topical issues.\n\n\n\nThere's been a step change in the way that the LEP wants to engage with businesses on transport matters and they are in listening mode. This is a prime opportunity to engage with these issues and influence them to enable better working and learning opportunities for you\, your colleagues and customers. \n\n\n\nPeter is keen to ensure businesses' views from across the Sheffield City Region are heard and understood. He will use your feedback from the discussion to inform the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership\, Transport for the North and British Chambers of Commerce to ensure you and your stakeholders benefit. \n\n\n\nTea/coffee and pastries will be served. He is keen to ensure that SCR LEP reflects the true feeling of business on the ground.
