Description
Is this event for me?
The event is aimed at all organisations considering entering the Doncaster Business Awards 2019. This includes business owners and managers, as well as all other staff who may get involved in completing the entry application.
Why should I attend?
In this workshop we will cover how to:
- Determine which award categories are right for you;
- Make your entry easy for judges to follow and understand;
- Identify factors which help your entry to stand out from the crowd;
- Provide relevant evidence and examples which showcase your achievements;
- Summarise key entry information concisely and persuasively;
- Manage your application, delivering the most competitive entry ahead of the deadline.
The workshop will be delivered by Jim Carley, Managing Director of Carley Consult. As well as Carley Consult being finalists in three categories at the Doncaster Business Awards in 2017, Jim and his business have enjoyed success in winning many other business awards. For example, in 2008 Jim was named Nottinghamshire Entrepreneur of the Year, and Carley Consult were the East Midlands Regional Winner & National Finalist for Most Promising New Business of the Year. Jim has also previously served as a judge for the North Nottinghamshire Business Awards, and devised and managed the inaugural Employment Related Services Associations (ERSA’s) Annual Awards.
