Increasing demands in the workplace, changing times or testing market conditions can all result in stressful situations at work. Equally, challenging times at home or in our personal lives can cause stress which we then bring to the workplace. Not all stress is bad, of course, but do you know how to identify when an employee might be feeling the pressure too much? What can you do to encourage good stress management techniques and an open environment that allows employees to tell you when they’re feeling stressed?
Managing stress in today’s workplace can be tricky for employers. Different employees respond to stress in different ways, and employers need to be able to manage the pressures and the reactions, in order to maintain the efficient performance of their business whilst also protecting the wellbeing of their employees.
Is this event for you?
Do you have employees? Are you likely to be recruiting your first employees in the near future?
