    Date: March 3, 2020 - March 4, 2020
    Ready for action!
    Event Description:

Essential training for anyone in business with responsibility for contracting and placing purchase orders with suppliers, sub-contractors and service providers including buyers, purchasing managers, engineering, technical, marketing and manufacturing personnel.

This specialist course equips attendees with a sound working knowledge of the law relating to purchasing. As well as covering common law and legislation, the course is designed to show the application of the law to practical situations regularly met by organisations purchasing goods and services. Practical advice and examples are provided on how to set up more robust contracts and manage the process of contract formation.

Sale of goods legislation is covered in detail with an emphasis on how the buyer can ensure that their statutory protection is not diluted by the seller’s Terms of Sale. The course also covers more recent legislation such as the Bribery and Modern Slavery Acts and TUPE.

In addition to the course tuition, attendees will receive a 'CPD' certificate as the course is ‘CPD’ accredited. The CPD (Continual Professional Development) organisation assesses courses to ensure the integrity and quality of the training meets their exacting standards and benchmarks.  On completion of a CPD certified course, the attendee receives a CPD certificate direct from CPD.  The certificate enables the attendee to formally demonstrate that they have gained skills and knowledge in this specific area of their professional development.
