Ian Rose
Ian has been involved in providing business solutions since 1985, initially working for the Official Receivers Office in Birmingham before moving to Baker Tilly. He then spent time at Pricewaterhouse Coopers before joining Poppleton and Appleby in Stoke-on-Trent as a manager. He became a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in July 2001, a short time after he was made Partner at Poppleton and Appleby. He then moved to Begbies Trayner in 2005 where he was made Partner when they took over P & A Stoke. In 2007, Ian left Begbies to form Silke and Co which was aquired by Wilkin Chapman LLP in October 2018. Ian specialises in all areas of business solutions available.
Oliver Tasker
Oliver qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and has specialised solely in employment law since qualifying. He joined Wilkin Chapman’s Lincoln employment team in 2013 and was made a Partner in November 2018.
Oliver predominantly advises employers across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK on all aspects of employment law and his aim is to provide effective and practical commercial advice to ensure that the clients’ aims are achieved to develop a long lasting relationship.
Oliver and the employment team at Wilkin Chapman have been extremely busy advising businesses on the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on their workforce including options such as short time working, lay-offs, redundancy planning, the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme and furloughed workers. With the situation and Government advice changing daily the need for practical employment law advice is paramount.
Oliver regularly represents clients in the Employment Tribunal, delivers bespoke training to businesses and presents internal and external seminars and podcasts on a broad range of employment topics.
