British Chamber of Commerce: Trade and investment opportunities in LATAC post-Brexit

The BCC has joined forces with Greater Manchester Chamber and the Department for International Trade (DIT) to showcase the growing business opportunities in one of the fastest growing market regions in the world.
Following the impact of COVID19, economies across the world experience contractions in growth, however, plenty of opportunities for increasing trade and investment between the UK and the LATAC region remain and with a number of continuity agreements in place this is the moment for UK companies to expand their global footprint in the region.
Minister for International Trade, Ranil Jayawardena MP joins this event along with a series of experts from The Caribbean Council and more providing useful insights about doing business in this vibrant region.
Key Trade Stats
UK exports of goods to the region only accounted for 1.46% of the total UK Exports to the World, although exports experienced a growth of 12% between 2016 & 2019. UK Imports from the region reached 1.31% from the Total UK Imports from the world and imports also grew by 5%. The total trade of goods with the region reached £10,894million.
