Employer Toolkit - Careers Fairs
Not just a pen collecting exercise! Our careers fairs are fun and interactive and a great way for you to showcase the best your business has to offer.
What are careers fairs?
Careers fairs are a great way for students to discover more about potential employers. They are typically organised in a large hall where potential employers will set up booths with members from various departments across the organisation along with new employees, to tell those attending about their company, their application process and anything else they might want to know.
Why should I offer one?
Whilst students may be aware of your industry, they might not fully understand the different career paths they could take or the job opportunities available. Discussions with employers give students an insight into how you got there and what they could do to follow in your footsteps. Careers fairs help to raise aspirations and awareness of career possibilities whilst providing valuable information for discussions with parents and guardians.
