Employer Support

Become an Enterprise Adviser

Becoming an Enterprise Adviser gives you an opportunity to use your vocational knowledge and experience to help guide young people towards their future career.

What are Enterprise Advisers?

Enterprise Advisers are volunteers from the business community. They are passionate about connecting young people to the world of work and use their experience and expertise to inspire.

Enterprise Advisers work closely with the senior leadership team at a school or college on a one-to-one basis to develop, support and improve their employer engagement plans and enterprise activities. They form the Career & Enterprise Company's Enterprise Adviser Network and use their knowledge of the local business landscape to help create opportunities for student engagement with their business contacts.

Why should I become an Enterprise Adviser?

Becoming an Enterprise Adviser gives you the opportunity to use your business experience and networks to develop and implement an effective careers programme which ensures that students have meaningful encounters with employers, and are well prepared for the next steps in their career.
