The Crown Hotel Bawtry

A historic coaching inn for over 300 years, The Crown Hotel in Bawtry is South Yorkshire's largest independently owned hotel and became a patron of Doncaster Chamber in February 2007.

Doncaster Rovers Football Club

Doncaster Rovers has once again continued their significant success story and made noticeable progress over the last five years under the supportive guide of their chairman; John Ryan.

They have secured promotion twice in the past and in 2007 their accolade came in the form of the coveted Johnstones Paint Trophy which they lifted at the Cardiff Millennium Stadium in front of 60,000 supporters and watched by millions of TV viewers. This was their first ever national cup competition and the momentous occasion came as a fitting end to a chapter that called Belle Vue home, moving proudly on to the future at the new Keepmoat Stadium.

Polypipe

Polypipe was founded in Doncaster 26 years ago. With a local workforce of just over 1,200, Polypipe is a very significant employer in the town and the company is keen to help develop the area. Polypipe is the UK's leading brand of plastic piping and sanitary systems and, although the Group also has production units throughout Europe, two of its main businesses, Polypipe Building Products and Polypipe Sanitary Systems make a large percentage of their products in Doncaster. The small units, each one metre long x 0.5 metres wide x 0.4 metres deep, are interlinked to form huge tanks that store water in storm times for gradual later release into the water table, preventing surface flooding and overloads to the drainage system. St Leger Homes is a modern organisation tasked with managing Doncaster's 21,000 council homes and carrying out a huge investment programme that will radically improve the quality of homes for our customers.
