Winners of Hodsock Wedding Fair Competition Celebrate

A London based couple have chosen the prestigious Hodsock Priory, Blyth, North Nottinghamshire for their forthcoming wedding celebrations because of its ‘magnificent setting and exclusivity’.

Lauren Clifford, 26 originally from Nottingham and Ben Spalding, 29 from Bromley, Kent work and live in the City and have booked the venue for their ceremony and celebrations next May. When they visited Hodsock Priory’s recent wedding fair they entered a competition to win a fantastic prize package, donated by exhibitors, and designed to spoil the bride and groom in the months leading up to their wedding. Imagine their surprise when they discovered they were the winners!

“We were stunned when Lindsay Jones, Conference and Events manager called to say we were the lucky winners,” commented Lauren. “We’d visited Hodsock that day to finalise plans for our wedding. Not only did we manage to book this fantastic venue but also win this fabulous package of prizes too!  We are so looking forward to enjoying then all!”

Hodsock Priory is known for the calibre of venue on offer and is delighted to have formed partnerships with many businesses to facilitate the smooth and professional organisation of a couple’s big day.

Couples can enjoy exchanging vows and celebrating their marriage in the Priory and its extensive, landscaped grounds and natural woodland. Each wedding benefits from exclusivity for the venue ensuring complete peace and privacy.

“I remember visiting Hodsock for its famous snowdrop display when I was a child and when I discovered that you were able to have your wedding there I knew it would be just right,” said Lauren. “We are so looking forward to our big day and with the new Hodsock Courtyard available soon the ten extra bedrooms that this provides has meant that Ben’s family, who live in Kent, will be able to stay with us in this beautiful place.”
