Web whiz Andy looks to expand

A self made Doncaster entrepreneur who has whipped up a web of new business is now looking to expand his growing company.

Website whizz Andy Roberts, 38, launched Exact Web Solutions more than a year ago and recently relocated to Doncaster Business Innovation Centre on Ten Pound Walk to meet the needs of his clientele.

And now the expert is on the look-out for an aspiring web developer to join his team and help shape the enterprise by producing more sophisticated, engaging web solutions.

Andy, who lives with his wife Janette and family of three in Sprotbrough, said: “Starting my business was a huge decision, especially when you have family commitments, but I love my job and business life has been absolutely great”.

“We’re working with local Yorkshire clients - from beauty salons to glazing companies and lawyers - as well as national companies including BT. Now I’ve reached the stage where another pair of hands is needed and it’s very satisfying when you’ve got to the point of being able to invest in more staff. It’s their chance to make a big difference to a promising business.”

Andy, a trained technical illustrator, moved into graphic design and then into websites, working for British Aerospace, Europcar and other big names - gaining over 15 years experience in design and web development before setting up alone.

Exact Web Solutions produces and develops professional websites, specialises in online marketing and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and now e-commerce, helping clients capitalise on the growth in online retail by enabling them to sell online.

Andy puts his success down to having developed a broad range of specialist web related skills to keep up with an evolution in technology. He added: “Many people sit at their computers day in and day out, making it so easy for them to search online instead of traditional resources to find up to date information and buy online.

“This has had a massive impact on the services we offer and, because the results are traceable, it means a measurable marketing strategy is on offer so customers can really see how our work is benefiting them.
