A South Yorkshire-based training centre is offering regional businesses a primer in ICT project management - at a huge discount.
The Training Foundry, part of Sheffield Hallam University, has slashed prices on its Mind The Gap! courses by 50 per cent after a successful bid to the Skills Enhancement Fund.
And the call is out to businesses to take advantage of the courses - with 120 cut-price places up for grabs.
Dave Rotherham, from the Training Foundry, said: "With the current economic downturn, employers may be seeing their training budgets squeezed.
"We are offering professional and rewarding courses at a highly discounted rate to help regional businesses become more successful in a difficult climate."
The course helps managers meet their ICT objectives and requirements by providing an introduction to some of the processes, tools, and techniques that will make their businesses more effective.

The Skills Enhancement Fund is a £50m resource aimed at engaging employers in Yorkshire and the Humber to invest in skills development and increase the skills base in the region.
The fund, which is available to SMEs in the Yorkshire and Humberside region, supports businesses to address these challenges by enabling them to access resources to improve the skills of their workforce.
This programme is part funded by the European Social Fund and co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency and funded by Yorkshire Forward.
