The Sheffield City Region Business Dinner 24th November 2011
Hosted by The Adsetts Partnership an exclusive networking opportunity to meet senior business people from across the city region.
Your host, Sir Norman Adsetts O.B.E. has been a significant influence in our region for almost 50 years. Under his leadership a small family firm grew to become SIG, the largest
Sheffield-based Plc which is now the biggest European supplier of specialist building materials. He has also been a leading figure in the development of local partnerships to manage change in the fields of economic regeneration, education and the arts; and was knighted in 1999 for services to the community in Sheffield.
Master of Ceremonies will be Simon Weston OBE. In 1982 the Sir Galahad was destroyed in Bluff Cove on the Falkland Islands. On board was Simon Weston, Welsh Guardsman, a name and face that was going to become well known for his struggle to overcome his injuries (46% burns) and redefine his role in life.
Our influential guest speaker will talk about the government’s plans for business, the Local Enterprise Partnerships and the Enterprise Zones.
