THE DAY OF YOUR DREAMS

Your wedding is the most important day of your life and choosing the perfect venue for your ceremony and celebrations is high on the priority list when the planning begins.  That is why one exclusive wedding venue is opening its doors, on selected dates in October and November for prospective brides throughout Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire to enjoy an independent wedding fair and personally guided tours.

Hodsock Priory, located on the border of North Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire and nestled in acres of landscaped gardens and parkland, is a truly spectacular place to say ‘I do’ or celebrate tying the knot. In order to allow engaged couples to fully appreciate the secluded splendour, the team are hosting two forthcoming open house days and a wedding fair where you can see how very special Hodsock Priory is.

“We have hosted hundreds of amazing weddings and enjoy working with couples and their families to create that individual perfect day,” commented George Buchanan ninth generation resident and general manager Hodsock Priory. “Each couple can delight in using our home and 800 acre estate to have a truly magical wedding day and our weddings manager, Lynda Pepper, can provide assistance in every aspect  of planning your day at Hodsock Priory.”

Sunday 2nd October will see an independent wedding fair take place where it is possible to meet the Priory’s recommended suppliers and peruse the house and gardens. Sunday 23rd October and Sunday 27th November will allow you to have a personal guided tour by George Buchanan and discuss your plans with Lynda and also Lindsay Jones, Courtyard at Hodsock Manager, ten luxury suites which are perfect for you and your guests to stay overnight. And, if you make your reservation at one of the open days, George will provide a Champagne reception for you and your guests completely free of charge!

“We are practised at hosting some of the most amazing weddings and the Priory and its grounds lends itself to an individual and memorable start to married life,” said George. “We shall look forward to welcoming visitors to our open days where they can discover Hodsock and fall in love with the place as well as each other.”

Hodsock Priory will be open between 12noon and 4pm for the wedding fair. Admission is free. Opening times for the open house days is 11am – 3pm. Appointments are not required.
