Survey of Transport and Logistics constraints on businesses in Yorkshire and the Humber and the East Midlands

We apologise if you have filled in a similar form to this recently, but we need to carry out a fresh survey in the context of the current recession, to assess the constraints on inward investment in this region and to help us advise Government on priorities for assisting job creation locally. Before you commence filling in the survey form, please take a few minutes to think about your specific business site in this region, about which you can provide information on turnover, type, staffing requirements, where people live and the issues affecting your operations. 

It is important that you hold a fairly senior position in your business as we will ask for some facts about its size, nature and prospects and, whilst there is scope for informed guesses, the more detailed your knowledge of your operations, the more we can rely on these and the more influential and useful will be our report. For this reason we ask for your name, position in the business and contact address. These will not be revealed in our final report, but allow us to have confidence in our analysis of your responses and be able to get back to you to on any issues, should this be desirable. 

We suggest you have to hand documents such as your annual report and accounts and personnel records, or access to a colleague who may assist you with  details.
