SNOWDROPS 2012 LOCAL BUSINESS FAM TRIP: WELCOME TO DONCASTER CHAMBER

Sir Andrew and Lady Belinda Buchanan invite you to the Hodsock estate in 2012 for an industry and business familiarisation trip. We’re inviting our industry and business partners to help us celebrate our 21st anniversary of Snowdrops with a complimentary day trip to Hodsock Priory.

We are dedicating one day to hosting regionally based tourism operators, tourist boards and TIC team members, and local businesses, at the peak of our Snowdrops season on Tuesday 21st February.

After a hot drink and homemade cake you’ll have a guided tour of the gardens and learn more about the estate and the secrets history of the house and former residents. Or, you can roam around the 5 acres of Snowdrop Garden and 12 acres of woodland at your leisure. In your Hodsock goodie bag there’ll be additional vouchers for free drinks and discounted food in our Café Bar, so please stay and enjoy a day out at Snowdrops.

FAM TRIP ITINERARY

10.30         Arrival and Registration at the Snowdrops marquee (heated and seated)

11.00         Welcome to Hodsock from George Buchanan
        Snapshot history of Snowdrops at Hodsock and developments at Hodsock Priory

11.30 – 12.30    Guided tours of the Gardens and House

12.30 – 15.00    Guests may stay on the estate for lunch, woodland walks and to view the garden

15.00        Event closes


TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT

•    Wrap up warm and wear appropriate outdoor footwear
•    Accessible routes are marked for wheelchair users and those who are less mobile
•    Bring a camera and take part in our photography competition
•    Allow around 2 hours for your visit
