On Sunday 19th June 2011 One Call Insurance will be taking part in a charity skydive. A number of brave staff including two of the directors have put themselves forward to jump out of a plane at dizzying heights all in the name of raising money for ChildLine. The plan was hatched by employee Les Johns who wanted to raise money for ChildLine, a charity very much close to his heart having grown up in care. Les, along with 11 other members of the One Call family are tirelessly raising money for the cause and aim to raise well over £5000 for the skydive which will take place at Langar Airfield, Nottinghamshire.
The One Call brand continues to grow and is now one of the largest independent employers in Doncaster. It has established strong ties with other businesses in the area over the years who have been happy to lend their support to the fearless bunch. Les Johns says;
“We are very grateful to National Accident Repair, Nationwide Windscreens, Doncaster Motor Repair and Doncaster Motor Spares who have all kindly donated to ChildLine in support of Team One Call, with many more businesses pledging their support we are looking to exceed our original target!”
