Rossington Hall under New Ownership

Rossington Hall under the new ownership of Gary and Michelle Gee will be opening its doors on Sunday 4th September for an open afternoon, inviting the public to come and see the progress in the restoration of the Hall and its gardens.

Our aim is to restore the Hall, its grounds and the once magnificent Italian Sunken Garden back to their original state as much as possible, and to preserve them along with the Northern Racing College and its Victorian stables, for the foreseeable future.

We feel it is a fantastic setting for a wedding venue and other functions and would make a top class hotel.  We are at the moment conducting a feasibility study and pursuing planning permission with Doncaster Council.

The open afternoon will be held from 1pm to 4pm, and visitors will be able to view progress with the work on the Hall and gardens as well as have the opportunity during the afternoon to visit the Northern Racing College stables to meet some of the staff, students and horses.  Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon and we will all be entertained by The Markham Main Colliery Band from Armthorpe.

We are reaching out for information on the Hall and gardens to help us with our restoration project and if you are able to share any information such as photographs, plans and literature we would be delighted to hear from you.
