One Call Insurance raise over £500 using the Purple Vouchers books as a fundraiser !

Here at Purple Vouchers we understand the importance of charities and have been genuinely touched by the work which goes into the national and local charities every day. This is why we have pledged to support these causes.

The handy new Purple Vouchers book which is crammed full of special offers worth over £6000 from a 1/2 price family swim at all 9 DCLT Leisure Centres to savings on beauty treatments at the Fountain Health Clinic, is dedicated to supporting fundraising efforts in Doncaster. For each book sold we make a minimum donation of £5 to some great local causes: Schools, Charities, Hospitals, Scout Groups, special projects – all benefit every year by working with us. Our target is to raise £50,000 per year for local fundraisers, and every Purple Vouchers Pocketbook you buy is a step closer to achieving this.

We are delighted to hear that One Call Insurance have raised over £500 for charity by selling the Purple Vouchers books to staff members! This has provided fantastic support to their chosen charity Firefly.

The charity raises awareness and aims to remove the stigma and embarrassment associated with personal cancer problems in young people whilst providing support for cancer patients currently receiving treatment.

Firefly were founded in 2006 by Denise Dunn and the charity launched the Firefly Express (pictured) soon after which provides a free door to door transport service for people of all ages undergoing cancer treatment at regional cancer centers. Due to limited parking access, the Firefly Express provides the users with a stress free form of transport to their treatment, which helps to ease one less worry at an increasingly stressful time of their lives.
