Identify Your Carbon Hotspot

The Chamber is working closely with the University of Sheffield on part of a study within the Low Carbon Supply Chain Project for the Centre for Low Carbon Futures (a collaborative research centre formed by the Universities of Hull, Leeds, Sheffield and York).

This research will provide new insights on how firms can reduce their carbon footprints by taking into account the whole supply chain system in which they are operating. The project will also develop a Balanced Low Carbon Supply Chain System capable of helping firms in identifying and evaluating potential green interventions and innovations on improving supply chain performance.

As part of this research, we are looking for businesses to identify carbon hotspots in their supply chains that can be targeted with potential intervention.
