Have Your Say on Employee Benefits and Red Tape

The next meeting of the Employment and Training Focus Group will take place on Tuesday 27th September 2011, 1500 – 1700hrs at Cavendish Court South Parade, Doncaster, DN1 2DJ.

At this meeting, we will be hearing from Atkinson Smith on the changes to Pension Regulations that will soon be coming into force, along with a presentation from Irwin Mitchell, regarding employment tribunals concerning social media.

We hope that these topics will lead to a wider debate on the general climate in Doncaster with regard to employee benefits and wages. Is your business looking to increase the salary and/or benefits of staff? Or are your employees not showing any sign of unrest with regard to their current package?

As usual, we will also be looking for examples of the effect of Government red tape on your business. Is current legislation proving to be a barrier to your business growing? Are there regulations that you would like to see scrapped? If so, please come along and add your voice to the debate.
