First Annual Doncaster Business Cup for NSPPC

Two leading business heads in Doncaster have come together to create the first charity ‘Business Cup’ football match, to be played at The Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday 14th May.

Solicitor, Andrew Isaacs and David Plant of Moirae Ltd are hoping to raise funds for the Rovers Inca Trek campaign which is aiming to raise £50,000 for the NSPCC over the next 12 months.

Thirty-six players have already signed up for the highly-anticipated game, which makes two squads of eighteen on each team.

“It should be a great day and a great occasion for everyone. It involves a lot of Doncaster business people clubbing together to help raise money for a fantastic charity.” says co-organiser, David Plant.

“We’re aiming to raise around £5,000 on match-day so come along and please show your support.”

When asked about the importance of the full-time score, David said;

“The result of the game is massive for myself and Andrew. We both want to take home the first annual Ardagh Group Doncaster Business Cup. I don’t do anything to lose!”

Rovers players Mark Wilson and James Coppinger will assist on match-day, providing support for both teams, as they compete to get their hands on the trophy.

The Ardagh Group has kindly agreed to sponsor the match, with kit sponsorship coming from DC Training for The Plant XI shirts and Smith Craven sponsoring The Isaac XI shirts.

Tickets for the charity football game at The Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday 14th May are priced at £3 for adults, £2 for kids and can be purchased from The Keepmoat Stadium from 11th May.
