Date: 19th October
Venue: HMP Doncaster

There are a few places left at the Business in the Community/Serco workshop on 19th October.  As you may know Doncaster prison is now a Payment by Results prison which means part of the contract payment is made against a reduction in re-offending.  Business in the Community sees employment at the heart of the solution.  Employment can reduce re-offending by between 33-50%.  Business in the Community’s campaign to reduce re-offending seeks to encourage employers to look at skills and abilities before convictions and is spreading the message of how to provide employability experiences and employment to ex-offenders through business-led workshops like this one to HMP Doncaster.

Business in the Community is supporting Serco to run this visit, in order to share with you insights regarding the skills and abilities of those who are being released from the prison.  We have confirmed delegates from Wilkinson, Greggs, MITIE and Sue Ryder but would really like more representation from local employers like you.

The workshop is being led by Serco with the support of BITC.
