Doncaster Knights Kick Off the Rugby Football Season at Castle Park on Saturday 3 September

Under the guidance of Brett Davey, the Club’s new Director of Rugby, the 2011/12 Doncaster Knights Squad is ready for Stage 1 of the 2011/12 Championship Campaign which kicks off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday 3 September when the Knights welcome Bristol Rugby to Castle Park. 

Doncaster Knights secured both home and away wins against Bristol Rugby last season, and the Team will be looking to get maximum points on the opening Saturday of the Championship.

Whilst the Squad has been working hard with pre-season preparation, the Castle Park Team has not been idle!  The pitch looks as good if not better than any seen in previous years and the Stadium looks great. 

The match is preceded from 12:30 p.m. by the Start of Season Lunch which offers an opportunity for family & friends groups to get together and experience Castle Park hospitality before watching Doncaster Knights play what we hope will be an exciting and expansive game of rugby.  Running in parallel with the Start of Season Lunch will be the first network gathering and lunch of the Business Club – details of which can be found at www.drfc.co.uk/About-Us/News/2011/July/New-Busines-Club-packages-3736

Saturday 3 September is the day we have a massive sale in the Knights Bazaar with up to 50% reduction on some items so come along before the lunch to snap up a bargain and avoid disappointment.
