Doncaster Chamber Members Get Locked Down for Charity

Six members of Doncaster Chamber's Pro Doncaster Focus Group will be 'doing time' in HMP Doncaster Marshgate Prison on Tuesday 24th November to raise funds for the AHS Foundation.

Jailbirds Kelvin Fitton of Smith Craven, Andrew McKenna of Yorkshire Bank, Nigel Brewster of Sewell Moorhouse, Daniel Fell of Doncaster Chamber, Liz Dickson of Atkinson Smith and Paul Goel of Keeble Hawson will be making the most of their mobile phone contacts to send out an SOS call to raise the minimum of £500 each to be released.

All cash raised goes to the AHS Foundation; a Doncaster based charity dedicated to saving lives, improving conditions, and rebuilding communities and infrastructures in areas affected by natural disasters.

Pro Doncaster is one of Doncaster Chamber's eight focus group which provide Doncaster businesses a forum to addresses the issues, concerns and opportunities pertinent to them; it is Pro Doncaster's long term ambition is to grow the number of people employed by the professional services sector in Doncaster from 12% to 20%.

Kelvin Fitton, Chair of ProDoncaster, said: "All six inmates are not scared of a challenge, we're confident we have enough contacts to raise enough money for the AHS Foundation before the wardens call 'lights off' and we're stuck in a cell for the night!
