A fledgling Doncaster business has scored a deal with the town’s Championship football club which will kick off at the QPR match this weekend (March 19).
Kat Communications, based in the Wright Business Centre, has been named the official communications partner for Doncaster Rovers in a three year deal which will see the company boost connections for the club by taking control of all mobile contracts and providing special deals for Rovers corporate partners.
Anthony Temperton, managing director of Kat Communications, said: “Announcing this deal is a fantastic step for Kat Communications.
“We are delighted that since the company started in 2009 we have proven ourselves to be a reliable and credible provider of communications solutions and as such have been able to develop this partnership with the Doncaster Rovers.
“We are now working closely with the club to work out a number of deals which we will make available to their corporate partners.”
Kat Communications, an all-in-one communications specialist providing end-to-end telecoms to companies across the country, were recently announced as sponsors of the West Stand at the Keepmoat Stadium, home of the Doncaster Rovers.
“We see this as a long term relationship and are delighted to have scored such a positive deal with our local team. Needless to say we will be spending more time at the superb Keepmoat Stadium offering our support to the club both on and off the pitch,” added Anthony.
To mark the occasion a number of events will take place at the Rovers v QPR match on March 19 when special guests of Kat Communications, the Warmsworth Lions Under 9s will attend the game and the Kat Communications team will be giving football fans the chance to win a variety of top prizes.
Doncaster Rovers commercial executive Andrew Whitham commented: “Doncaster Rovers are delighted to be working with KAT Communications. We share very similar business values and will work closely together over the coming years to propel both businesses forward. These are exciting times at the Rovers and not just on the field.”
