Date released for the Robinsons of Bawtry Annual Charity Fashion Show

Robinsons are delighted to announce that their 2011 charity fashion show will be held on Sunday 9th October at its usual venue the China Rose restaurant, situated just metres from the doors of the Bawtry boutique, and the evening will once again generate funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research. Since the launch of this iconic event in 1992 by previous owner Tony Robinson, who started it in memory of his late wife, over £200,000 has been raised and current owners Russell and Wendy Jones are hoping to make this year’s event even bigger and better than ever, in celebration of Robinsons silver anniversary.

This fundraising event, which is always a sell out attracting over 200 people, will be a similar format to previous years but with some little personal twists from the Robinsons team. As well as enjoying a delicious three course Chinese banquet, guests will be entertained with a forty five minute fashion show displaying some of Robinsons latest autumn/winter portfolio, plus there will be the opportunity to win some amazing prizes on offer in the raffle and auction which are always generously donated by friends and suppliers of Robinsons.

Yorkshire Cancer Research is Yorkshire's cancer charity. Every penny raised is spent in Yorkshire, helping local people beat cancer and supporting world-class research, diagnosis and treatment in our region. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9.30am – 5.30pm; Sunday 11am – 4pm and late night opening each Thursday until 7.30pm.
