Brendan Sands of Time2, tells us of his experience of Doncaster Chamber:
“I joined the Chamber in the summer of 2009, primarily with a view to generating more local customers for my business - Time2 Biometric Clocking Systems, as 90% of our existing customer-base is in the South of England. I also wanted to establish links with other companies that would provide services we may require.
I first met with Steve Gill from the Chamber after an initial recommendation from another Chamber Member, Trador Printing of Armthorpe. From the first New Members Welcome Meeting I went to at Bawtry Golf Club, we really haven’t looked back!
Two of the contacts I made at the New Members Welcome Meeting were Exact Web Solutions and 4C Creatives. Andy Roberts at Exact has just designed and implemented our new website, whilst Jo Clark at 4C Creatives has undertaken the design work for our new logo and company literature. We are also in discussions with Extreme Media (Jonathan Stuart) regarding a web-based forum and online film for the new website.
Whilst at another business lunch I attended, I met Nicky Birkenshaw (Finance Manager, Doncaster YWCA) and we are currently implementing our Clocking System with them. This is going to record and track their staff flexi-hours and also provide a Fire/Muster list in case of emergency and will hopefully be the first of many customers in the Doncaster area!
All of the above as a result of joining the Chamber!”
