Attract-ive yellow flowers off to Iran

Sheffield and Doncaster based brand identity design agency, Attract, have had their latest campaign backed by an internationally renowned marketing speaker and entrepreneur, Geoff Ramm (www.geofframm.com).

Liam Swift, Attract's artistic director developed an idea based on the inspiration given to him by Geoff at a marketing event held by Barclays in Hull last year.

Liam said "The ideas Geoff shared with the group that day, actually inspired me to start my own business. I have adapted and utilised some of Geoff's exercises to generate a buzz and create sales."

"One idea stuck in my head, leaflets, they're boring and nobody picks them up - you need something special to make a passer by take time out of their day and read your leaflet. That is why we didn't do one. We developed and created several origami flowers with just our web address on them and scattered them all over a leaflet stand."

"The response was incredible. Everybody picked one up when they passed by, examined it, smiled and popped it back down again - we secured several leads from this idea just from spending an hour folding paper into something different and creative that makes people smile."

Geoff will be travelling to Iran later this to defend his two time crown of 'World's Best Speaker' at the World Advertisement / Marketing Creativity Forum in Iran. With him will be one of the Attract flowers.

Ryan Swift, Attract's Managing Director, sent Geoff photo's of their campaign to show his tips in action and Geoff responded by asking Ryan to send him one so he could talk about it at his upcoming events, including in Iran.

Geoff said, “As the founder of Observational Marketing I am forever looking for great marketing which grabs my attention. Only the best will ever enter my keynotes so when I came across the Attract flower flyer I just had to show other entrepreneurs and companies around the world this great piece of creativity.

This November I will return to Iran to speak at 4 conferences ending with the ‘World Advertising Forum 3’ in Tehran on November 10th and 11th where I will showcase the Attract flower to over 2,000 businesses on how with imagination and creativity any business can capture the attention of an audience.

As of yet I am not sure how I will display it, but I may just leave it around the conference venue for people to pick it up before I speak!!”
