Artists at The Point can help keep the kids amused this half term

When the days are short and the weather is cold it somehow feels more difficult to organise fun, exciting activities to keep the kids amused.

Well the artists at The Point are here to help… On Monday, Thursday and Friday during half term week (15 – 19 February) artists from darts (Doncaster Community Arts) and the Doncaster Dome Play Rangers will be in the gallery at The Point hosting free workshops to keep active brains and busy bodies occupied.

These workshops are part of the "Exciting Explorations" project for children aged between 5-16. The project aims to encourage children to explore, experiment and develop creative play opportunities.

This project started in 2009 and since then darts artists have worked with hundreds of children across Doncaster. So come along to the workshops, find out how you can get involved, tell us what kind of things you like to play and we’ll get busy planning some Easter holiday workshops!

Exciting Explorations is part of Doncaster's BIG Lottery Play portfolio. The other organisations involved are the DOME and A-Junction Network North. The project runs until 2011.
