The council’s Invest in Doncaster team has played a key role in bringing leading Aircraft Maintenance & Repair company, Apple Aviation to Robin Hood Airport.
Apple, currently based at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport, will be initially servicing the Thomas Cook aircraft at Doncaster and have plans to grow the business with other major airlines.
The company provide a professional and cost effective solution for all maintenance requirements and is available 24/7 to provide immediate support for customers.
Apple’s managing Director; Bernard Longman first became aware of Robin Hood Airport at an event in London where the Invest in Doncaster team were exhibiting.
Delighted with the expansion, Mr Longman said: “Doncaster is the perfect location for our new operations. The services the airport has to offer are exactly what we were looking for and we are delighted to be having a team based here.”
