Annual Sheffield Management Lecture

The annual Sheffield Management Lecture will be held on Tuesday 8 June, 2010 from 6pm onwards.  The event is organised and co-hosted by the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University.

The Management Lecture provides an opportunity to hear from leading national organisations and business leaders and invites active debate on the issues under discussion.  It provides an invaluable opportunity for delegates to network with up to 400 fellow senior managers and executives.

The speaker this year is Richard Lambert, Director General of the CBI.  Richard will explore the key challenges facing British business in the context of a recent general election and one of the deepest recessions of recent years.

He will also go on to examine the importance of collaboration between business and higher education, looking back at lessons learned in the past and forward to the challenges ahead.

The Sheffield Management Lecture is a key annual event in the regional  business calendar providing a forum for nationally-recognised business executives to explore issues in contemporary management relevant to both private and public sectors.
